Shipping Policy

This policy describes how Søvna (operated by Primedexa) ships orders to customers in the United States. By placing an order, you accept these terms.

Shipping Coverage

We ship to all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii, and to U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands). We do not currently ship internationally. PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses are not eligible for sauna deliveries because of freight requirements; please provide a physical street address with delivery access for a freight truck.

Shipping Cost

Free standard freight shipping is included on all sauna orders within the contiguous United States (lower 48). A surcharge applies to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories, calculated and displayed at checkout based on destination.

Shipping accessories ordered without a sauna are charged at carrier-calculated rates at checkout.

Order Processing Time

Orders are reviewed and processed within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed. Saunas are then prepared for freight handoff. You will receive an email with tracking information when the unit ships.

Transit Time

After dispatch, expected freight transit times are:

Total time from order placement to delivery is typically 7–15 business days for the contiguous U.S. Transit times are estimates from our carriers and are not guaranteed; weather and freight network capacity may extend delivery in some weeks.

Carriers

Saunas ship as palletized freight via reputable LTL carriers, including but not limited to FedEx Freight, R+L Carriers, Estes Express, and Saia. Carrier assignment is based on origin warehouse, destination ZIP, and pallet specifications.

Delivery Service Level

Standard service is curbside delivery: the carrier brings the pallet to the end of your driveway or the curb at your address. The customer is responsible for moving the pallet to its final installation location.

Optional upgrades available at checkout (where the carrier supports them):

  • Liftgate service — the carrier lowers the pallet from the truck to the ground
  • Threshold delivery — pallet placed inside the entryway of your home or garage
  • White-glove delivery — pallet brought to room of choice; debris removal included (where available)

Delivery Appointment

For freight orders, the carrier will contact you by phone 24–48 hours before delivery to schedule a 4-hour delivery window. Please provide a phone number that can receive calls during business hours when placing your order.

Inspection at Delivery

Inspect the pallet and packaging before signing the delivery receipt. Note any visible damage on the receipt at the time of signature. If you discover concealed damage after the carrier leaves, photograph the damage and email support@primedexa.com within 72 hours of delivery.

Failed Deliveries / Refused Shipments

If a shipment is refused at delivery without a documented reason (damage, wrong item), the customer is responsible for the full round-trip freight charge plus a 15% restocking fee, deducted from any refund. Carrier storage charges incurred from missed appointments are also the customer's responsibility.

Order Changes & Cancellation

Orders can be changed or canceled before they enter freight handoff (typically within the first 1–2 business days after placement). Once a sauna ships, the standard return process applies — see our Return & Refund Policy.
